Abstract

In this era of excessive technology, an illusory panacea for contemporary communities, can art still be of any social utility to men and their societies, of any value to their excessive ambitions? In this respect, can a sand painting, apparently insignificant, still decently claim a certain morality in the eyes and reflection of an anonymous spectator? It seems, in this regard, that the perception of values is in no way foreign to a parrhesiastic attitude long contained in communication. Divided between egotism and parrhesia, the anxious conscience takes refuge in silence
