Abstract

This article proposes a semiotic analysis of a painting depicting the daily life of an Arab community in the Sahara. Using visual semiotics, the study will focus on symbols such as the date palm tree, traditional clothing, and the color palette to decode cultural and social meanings. The aim is to unveil the symbolic richness, human resilience, and inherent beauty of life in challenging environments through complex visual storytelling
