Cooperative education as a strategic option to achieve compatibility between the outputs of higher education and the requirements of the labor market
The German experience as a model
Abstract
In many Arab countries, including Algeria, Higher education encounters many challenges, especially with regard to achieving the compatibility between its outputs and the labor market requirements.
The purpose of this study is to clarify the role of cooperative education in achieving the compatibility between higher education outputs and the labor market requirements. Which is an important demand for the promotion of internal and external efficiency of higher education institutions, With reference to the German experience as one as leading countries in this field.
In order to achieve that, we used the analytical descriptive approach and case study methodology.
The study concluded the need to activate cooperative education to reduce the gap between higher education outputs and the labor market requirements
