The Reengineering as an Approach to Operationalize Knowledge Management in the Algerian Enterprise
A Field Study in BATIMITAL Enterprise of Ain Defla
Abstract
This study Aimed to explore the impact of reengineering as a modern managerial approach to adopt and apply the knowledge management in BATIMITAL company of Ain Defla, and to identify which dimension is the most important to support the application of knowledge management in the case company. Accordingly a survey study was conduct in BATIMITAL company of Ain Defla by distributing 270 questionnaire on its employees and receiving only 170 responses.
The main results of this study were:
- There is a strong positive relationship between the reengineering and knowledge management over than +0.7K which refers to the possibility of using this approach to adopt, apply & execute the knowledge management in BATIMITAL company of Ain Defla;
- The Human resource dimension is the most important factor of reengineering that can affect the knowledge management in this company, and the other dimensions were ordered as follow: the information technology dimension, the process dimension then the organizational structure dimension.
