The criteria of the National Reference as a model for ensuring the quality of scientific research in Algeria

Abstract

The objective of this study is to evaluate the quality of scientific research at the University of Adrar according to a comparative study between the 2017 and 2018 self- assessment, to identify the impact of applying the requirements of the new national reference in the field of scientific research, considering that the field of scientific research is one of the most important fields guaranteed by the national quality assurance, in which the Ministry has tried to ensure the importance of the field of scientific research as the  important task of the university in addition to the university formation. This is in the first two assessments since the adoption of the first reference in 2017.

The study concluded that the evaluation was less than the average in the two years,and recommended the need to increase attention and focus on the quality of scientific research throughthe application of the requirements of the new national reference for quality assurance in Algeria.
