Analysis of ICT Readiness in Algeria

Comparative Study

Abstract

: The aim of the study is to identify the potential of Algeria to benefit from ICT and integrate into the knowledge economy. To achieve this objective, we analyzed and compared the Network Readiness Index and the ICT Development Index for Algeria and the rest of the Arab countries.The results of the study revealed that Algeria lags behind most of these countries despite the current efforts in developing the ICT sector
