Abstract

study highlights the role that local authorities represent in increasing the attractiveness of the territory of the Souk-AhrasWilaya by reinforcing the decentralization of procedures at the local level. In addition, the challenge of making a territory more attractive by improving, diversifying and modernizing infrastructure supply, innovation, digitization and the development of scientific and technological capacities, while ensuring the development and highlighting of the assets of the territory. To reach the end of the objectives of this research, a case study was carried out on the territory of wilaya of Souk-Ahras. The analysis of the data collected following the appropriate tools (documents, observation, and interview) and "Excel2016" and "Power Map" programs led to the identification of the fundamental role that local communities take in local development, by taking necessary and appropriate measures to optimize the use of available assets across its territory
