Study the relationship between education and unemployment in Algeria during the period (1980-2016) using ARDL approach

Abstract
This study aims to test the short and long term experimental relationship between education, measured by the rate of growth of enrollment in secondary education and the rate of growth of enrollment in higher education and unemployment in Algeria using annual data from 1980-2016 using the ARDL approach, The results of the study revealed a long-term relationship between the variables of the study. It also showed that the growth of enrollment in secondary education had a positive and significant effect on unemployment rates in the short term, and the growth of those enrolled in higher education has had a positive and long-term effect on unemployment rates
