Abstract

The research discusses the importance of financing renewable energy through Islamic green sukuk, as this type of financing issued by Islamic banks is characterized by long-term financing, which some traditional banks exclude due to the difficulty of obtaining profits in a short time.
The study proposes a mechanism for financing renewable energy projects through hybrid Islamic green sukuk in Islamic banks in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
The study concluded the importance of financing in this way and the integration of Islamic banks and conventional banks to finance these environmentally friendly projects
