Abstract

This study aims to identify the impact of employing the use of information technology on knowledge sharing at the Sona Gas Corporation in Ouargla. The researchers relied on the descriptive analytical method. To achieve the research objectives, the questionnaire was used as a basic tool for collecting information. It was distributed to a random sample of 80 employees. The data was processed using the statistical program (SPSS), and the research concluded that there is a statistically significant effect of information technology on knowledge sharing, with a strong correlation between the two variables. There are also no statistically significant differences in the perceptions of the research sample members about knowledge sharing according to demographic variables (gender, age, level of education, seniority at work). The research recommended the necessity of providing modern and advanced devices and equipment for applying information technology, while providing effective internal and external communication networks to enhance knowledge exchange and attract qualified competencies capable of using information technology in the organization
