Analysis the use of the ERP system in the Algerian petroleum company

Abstract

The aim of this study is to evaluate the success of the ERP system in the National Institution for Well Works and the National Exploration Corporation. In our study, we relied on both the interview and questionnaire tools. The survey was distributed to the two ERP managers and users in the two institutions (80 individuals) That the ERP system contributes to the integration of all the functions of the two institutions and the provision of information to the decision makers. As to the extent of success, it was found that it did not succeed because of the lack of interest of the two institutions in the management of change, the project team changed the absence of incentives related to the project. That a Of two institutions failed in varying degrees in the optimal utilization of the system, in addition to the weakness of some security policies
