Requirements in the Algerian EconomySukukApplication

Abstract

This study come to shed light on the requirements to apply Sukukin the Algerian economy. It began to define these new financial instruments, discussed the developments in sukuk markets in the world and its increasing economic importance in the modern economies. Then, it pointed to theInstitutional requirements to utilize Sukuk,such as the development of the Algiers Stock Exchange and the creation of the supervision and control body, the establishment of a Central Shari'aSupervisory Board, as well as the provision of regulatory and legal framework that aimed at creating an appropriate environment which attract companies and investors to deal with Sukuk in the Algerian economy
