Abstract

This study addressed the role of the balanced scorecard in building and implementing the strategy in the local communities as non-profit organizations, by adapting them to the requirements and objectives of these organizations, and in line with the requirements of their clients. To apply the card, then we studied one of the most successful experiences of applying the card in non-profit organizations, represented by the model of the American city of Charlotte, where we presented the application steps and the results obtained
