The impact of using information technology on the quality of health service in the hospital institution An exploratory study of the opinions of doctors and nurses at the hospital specialized in ophthalmology in Biskra
Abstract
This study aims to identify the perceptions of doctors and nurses in the hospital specialized in ophthalmology in Biskra about the impact of the use of information technology on the quality of health services provided. The study population consisted of all (93) doctors and nurses, and the descriptive approach was used to highlight the concepts related to the subject of the study and analyze it.. To achieve this goal, the questionnaire was used as a study tool, and SPSS V22 Program was used in the statistical analysis of the data.
The study reached a set of results, the most important of which is the presence of an average level for the use of information technology, and a high level of quality of health services from the viewpoint of the medical staff in the hospital under study, in addition to the fact that information technology contributed to explaining (7.7%) of the changes in the quality of health services in the hospital institution. Specifically in the interpretation of the two dimensions of assurance and sympathy.
