Sustainable Supply Chain Management’s Research Fields - Theoretical Study

Abstract

In the recent years sustainable supply chain field has received increasing interest among both academic and practicioners, and this is confirmed by the increasing number of conferences and studies published on the theoretical and practical aspects of the topic. This paper aimed to present a research summary on sustainable supply chain management, where it highlighted the growth of This research field, by tracking the number of scientific publications in the scientific researcher engine Google Scholar, and also emphasized the importance of fully considering of the three main dimensions of sustainability in managing sustainable supply chains, i.e. the financial, environmental and social dimensions, and came to define research areas within the topic of sustainable supply chain management which is, theoretical development, measurement performance, qualitative and quantitative support for the decision.
