Abstract

Foreign direct investment (FDI) is a one of international capital flows movements. And the most important source of external financing in today's world, through the large inflows and its growing and accelerating growth. The Arab countries, including Algeria, have undertaken various structural, financial and investment reforms and worked to build their economies, so that they can be adapted to the global transformations, and thus integrate into the global economy. Also try to get the appropriate climate to upgrade the business environment to the level of gravity and competitiveness.
The objective of this study is to determine the attractiveness of Arab countries for FDI (19952015) by analyzing the performance index by the volume of foreign direct investment flows, its geographic and sectorial distribution, its share of global flows, and assessing the competitiveness of Arab countries Through international and regional indicators, and in all this we try to refer to the case of Algeria.
