Abstract

This study aims to investigate the psychological well-being and its relationship with optimism among secondary school teachers in Hassi Gara municipality, El Ménia Province, using a descriptive approach. The study was conducted on a sample of 103 teachers, comprising 83 females and 20 males, selected through comprehensive sampling. After applying the study tools, including the Psychological Well-being Scale and the Arabic Optimism Scale, and statistically processing the obtained data, the study reached the following results:

- The level of psychological well-being among secondary school teachers in Hassi Gara municipality is high.

- The level of optimism among secondary school teachers in Hassi Gara municipality is high.

- There is no statistically significant correlation between psychological well-being and optimism among secondary school teachers in Hassi Gara municipality.

- There are no statistically significant differences in the level of psychological well-being among secondary school teachers in Hassi Gara municipality attributed to gender.

- There are statistically significant differences in the level of optimism among secondary school teachers in Hassi Gara municipality attributed to gender
