Married working woman between Work Anxiety and Social-personal Adjustment

Abstract

The study aimed to know the level of work anxiety and social-personal adjustment among married working women at the social sciences faculty at the University of Laghouat and the differences in the variables of the study as seniority variable ( 5 years or less, 6 years or more ) and the age variable ( 30 years old of less, 31 years old or more), distance or proximity from the place of residence from the work place. We follow a descriptive method by distributing the questionnaire to a sample of 60 married working woman, at the Faculty of Human and Social Sciences at Amar Telidji laghouat University. After ascertaining the psychometric characteristics of the study's tools and statistical processing of the data, we came to the following conclusions:

-The level of work anxiety among married working women is higher .

- The level of social- personal adjustment for of the marries women worker is low.

- The are differences in the levels of work anxiety of the members the sample of study, mainly related to seniority.

- There are differences in the levels of work anxiety of the members of the study sample, mainly related to age.

-There are no differences in the levels of work anxiety and social personal adjustment in the members of the study sample that differ in terms of the far or near distance between home and work
