The Algerian institution between theory and practice

Abstract

The institution did not appear in the forms and patterns that prevail today, but rather it witnessed many developments since its inception, from sufficiency at the local level to the large institutions that we see today in their various sizes and shapes. Despite the emergence of the institution in a specific socio-historical context at the beginning of the twentieth century (the stage of development of institutions, in In the first quarter of this century, the first theories concerned with management appeared. However, this concept was associated with many and multiple meanings, all of which revealed the variation in frameworks and contexts in which it was used by sociologists, economists, and others who distinguished between levels of analysis of the institution and organizational phenomena.
