Abstract

This article discusses the attachment to the homeland and the role of writers in raising awareness against colonisation through revolutionary writings.it highlights the role that literature has played in the international arena. Their role as writers involved in the national struggle, whose main task is to prove the credibility of their texts to be the mirror that reflects the reality of Algerian society during colonisation, highlighting the family in general and women in particular as an example of sacrifice and patience and standing side by side with the men, in order to reach independence and freedom of the homeland
