Emotional balance and its relationship to life satisfaction among primary school teachers A field study in the elementary schools of Metlili district - Ghardaia -

Abstract

The study aimed to try to identify the level of emotional balance and life satisfaction among primary school teachers. Then knowing the extent to which emotional balance contributes to predicting life satisfaction on the one hand, and finally knowing the significance of the differences in the relationship of emotional balance to life satisfaction according to the sex variable. The sample consisted of 107 teachers (20 males - 87 females), who were randomly selected from primary education teachers in schools in the city of Metlili, Ghardaia state, during the 2019/2020 school year.

The tools used in this study included two scales, namely, the emotional balance scale and the life satisfaction scale. The study found that the level of both emotional balance and life satisfaction was higher than the average among primary education teachers in general. And to the contribution of emotional balance in predicting life satisfaction among the study sample. And there are no differences in the relationship of emotional balance to life satisfaction according to the sex variable

In our study, we relied on the descriptive approach appropriate to the nature of the study, and we also relied on analyzing the results using statistical methods by means of the (spss) program
