Estimating internal migration by indirect demographic methods in Algeria: Batna as a model

Abstract
The study aims to estimate internal migration in Batna during the 1998 and 2008 censuses, and that is indirect methods. These methods are survival rates using the CSRMIG program. It was found that during the period 1998-2008 20365 people left Batna. In addition to the growth rate method, 16,934 people were recorded leaving the state during the same period, while according to the vital statistics method, 66,205 people were recorded leaving Batna during the same period.
