Abstract
This survey was conducted to know the nature of the value system among the teachers in free primary schools ‘ El-Hayat”. In aiming to use a comprehensive inventory method, the scale was distributed to the team of research, consisted of (82) teachers in free primary schools of the city in the academic year (2019-2020), where (74) questionnaires were recovered.
In order to achieve the objectives of the study, the analytical descriptive approach and the value scale of Mr. Mahmoud Abu El-Nil and Maher Mahmood Al-Hawari, which were mainly based on the pattern of Albert Disney test of values, were adopted for data collection.
After analyzing the data gathered, the study found the following results:
1- The values for the teachers in “El-Hayat” Elementary School are arranged in descending order as follows: religious values - social values - theoretical values - economic values - political values - aesthetic values.
2- There are statistically significant differences in (economic) values in favor of male teachers, and in (religious, theoretical, aesthetic) values for female teachers. Except for (socio-political) values.
