Oral language disorders in adults with Broca's aphasia by speaking Kabyle dialect, “a case study”

Abstract

This study is included in the framework of scientific research that deals with aphasia, which is considered a disorder that affects linguistic abilities, resulting from injuries in the parts of the brain responsible for language, so that this study aims to evaluate the oral language of adults with Broca's aphasia, and we assumed that the person with Broca's aphasia He suffers from disturbances in oral language. In order to achieve this goal, the descriptive approach has been relied upon. And the use of the (ECLA) test to assess linguistic abilities adapted to the Algerian environment by the researcher Hassian Mohamed in (2015), on a sample consisting of two cases with Broca's aphasia, speakers of the tribal dialect, whose ages ranged between 31 and 52 years, at the Sidi Belowa Hospital in Tizi-Ouzou, and after analyzing The results obtained, the study confirmed that the cases with Broca's aphasia suffer from disorders in the oral language, especially in the oral expression, with the correct understanding of the oral language
