Psychological stress and its relation to academic compatibility in the final year of secondary education
Abstract
The present study aimed at identifying the level of psychological stress and academic compatibility among a sample of students in the final year of secondary education at Faid Said High School in the municipality of Hammam Dalaa, the state of m’sila , as well as examining the differences in their total degree for the study sample according to the variables of sex and specialization (scientific, literary) It also aimed to determine the type of relationship between these two variables in the study sample. To achieve these goals, a set of statistical methods were used to verify the validity of the hypotheses and to test them, and the following results were reached:
-The level of psychological stress among students in the final year of secondary education is high.
-The level of academic compatibility of students in the final year of secondary education is low.
- There are no statistically significant differences between the members of the study sample in both psychological stress and academic compatibility according to the variables of sex and specialization.
- There is a weak inverse relationship with statistical significance between psychological stress and academic compatibility among the study sample individuals
