Abstract

The most important thing that can be deduced from sociological studies that dealt with the Algerian family during and after colonialism is that it is an extended family ruled by a traditional cultural model, framed by religious and cultural-social values, and it works to reproduce itself and preserve its cultural and religious identity, as it stood in The face of several internal and external factors, cultural, social, economic and ideological, which sought to dismantle and fragment them, the most important of which is French colonialism, and studies have shown that the Algerian family has undergone several changes, whether in its structural form, i.e. on the level of structure, or in its internal relations Or, on the level of its social and religious values, due to several factors.
