Abstract

This article deals with an important issue, which is the economic role of media institutions. On one hand, these institutions aim to provide a public service for the public good; on the other hand, they are economic entities that seek financial gain especially in the field of private media. therefore ; this economic characteristic of the media imposes itself as they must adhere to economic standards in the running of institutions, so as to continue to perform their tasks the way they are required to in order to achieve financial returns for their owner as an economic activity. Added to this is the nature of the its perishable product, which also imposes a set of considerations that media organizations must take into account to be able to compete in this fierce media market, especially with the diversity and variety of media
