Abstract

This research aims to study the correlation between the empowerment of the human resource in the work environment and promoting of the organizational culture of citizenship through all hierarchical levels and work teams, in light of the importance that this citizenship has in enhancing the value of positive participation, developing motivation to work, which will have a positive impact on the quality of the organizational performance of the individual.

The descriptive approach is employed with its analytical methods in researching theoretical frameworks related to empowerment and organizational citizenship.

The study concluded that the human resource empowerment approach has a positive impact on enhancing organizational citizenship behavior, and this is achieved through:

-Empowerment requires support for a culture of social responsibility among all organizational levels, so that opportunities for participation are realized as one of the dimensions of organizational citizenship according to the logic of justice and equal opportunities.

-Empowerment requires the creation of a healthy regulatory environment and occupational safety, which increases with it the motivation to work, thus achieving job security as a strong motivator for the conditions of affiliation and organizational citizenship behavior.
