Communication between civil society and the parliament in Algeria

Abstract

It is considered that communication between civil society and parliament is a feature of democratic systems, as the features of this communication emerge, starting from election campaigns and monitoring them up to participation in monitoring election results that is in an organic aspect.In addition, in the functional aspect, communication features emerge through the role of civil society in inspiring the law during law discussion sessions where it should be summoned to come and express their opinion on these laws.It also has the right to exercise oversight and accountability over parliamentary work, and the features of this communication in Algeria are still recent and the legal texts governing it are limited and clouded with ambiguity
