Millennium Development Goals (MDGs) in health in Algeria ( goal 4 and 5).
Abstract
This article, entitled "Evaluating the development goals in the health field in Algeria (Fourth and Fifth Goals)", aims to shed light on Algerian efforts in the health field, especially with regard to reducing child mortality and improving maternal health in the framework of the Millennium Development Goals, highlighting a number of programs And the mechanisms through which Algeria sought to achieve these two goals, as was discussed in this research paper to highlight the development of child mortality from 1966 to 2016 and the changes that occurred during this period thanks to the special program for vaccinations and the program to combat diarrhea, as for the improvement of Maternal health study has addressed a number of health services that must be provided by relevant stakeholders in order to improve the quality of life through the achievement of a safe life for mothers before, during and after birth.
The main objective of this article remains to monitor and evaluate the progress made by Algeria in achieving these two goals, as it is among the countries participating in the Millennium Summit
