Evaluation of health services in public health institutions from the patients' point of view - A field study in public health institutions in Constantine -

Abstract

Health services are related to the urban development of the city, as the primary task of these services is to meet the needs of the population in the required form and type.

Through this study, we aim to try to evaluate the health services provided in public health institutions in Constantine.

The health institutions in the city of Constantine have contributed to improving the health of the citizen, and this is due to all the characteristics and advantages that it enjoys from having a qualified medical team of doctors and nurses who have an acceptable level of medical performance.

Most of the health services are concentrated in the municipality of Constantine, the latter which represents the population, administrative and service center of gravity as the state capital.

Through this study, we found that the health services in Constantine did not reach the required level in order to provide health services at the required level, which requires a review of the health system and policy and the application of the standards of the World Health Organization.
