Selective internal migration between states in Algeria During the period 1998-2008

Abstract
Internal migration is a non-random phenomenon, with attractions and expulsion leading to the selection of immigrants by age group, gender, marital status, level of education, occupation and economic activity. This study aims to highlight the characteristics of migrants (internal migration) between the states in Algeria during the period 1998-2008, using the analytical descriptive approach and logistic regression method. In our work, we will try to determine the characteristics of demographic and social migrants. We will also try to address the relative increase of female migrant workers when we refer to the category of working age and production, we found that probability of migration of women, singles to urban areas.
