Abstract

This article trys to address a contemporary and widely discussed topic in recent times—digitalization—but from a different perspective that offers a new approach, namely the cultural perspective of the organization. Specifically, it focuses on “Digitalization and Organizational Culture,” aiming to analyze the interaction between digitalization and organizational culture from a sociological standpoint by answering the following question: How does organizational culture influence the process of digitalizing on organization?.

Answering this question involves identifying the impact of organizational culture in either facilitating or hindering the digitalization process, as well as identifying the cultural challenges associated with it and finding appropriate solutions. This article adopts a descriptive analytical methodology through a review of literature and theoretical texts, along with an analysis of concepts and models related to digitalization. It also examines the cultural and behavioral challenges faced by organizations during digitalization, and explores their implications for institutional performance.and finally the arrticle concludes that digitalization is a comprehensive transformation that requires a strong and flexible requires a strong and flexible organizational culture—one that is based on participation, supports innovation, and overcomes the cultural barriers imposed by the current organizational culture. In such a culture, digital transformations are integrated into the very fabric of the organization’s culture
