The reality of family use of information and communication technology and access to the Internet
Abstract
This study aims to know the reality of the use of information and communication technologies and access to the Internet for the Algerian family in general and women aged 15 to 49 years in particular, based on the data of the Multiple Indicator Cluster Survey MICS6 conducted in Algeria in 2019 by the Population Directorate of the Ministry of Health and Hospital Reform, which is implemented with financial and technical support from the United Nations Children's Fund (UNICEF) and a financial contribution from the United Nations Population Fund, which provides a comprehensive and detailed view of the situation of women and children in Algeria.
In this study, we focused on knowing the reality of the use of these technologies and their importance and impact on the family atmosphere, the social upbringing of the individual, etc.
Through this study, we reached the conclusion that the speed of access to information and ease of communication requires the use of many media of information and communication technology, which have brought about fundamental changes in the life of the individual and society at all psychological, social and economic levels
