Adaptors – Innovators" Style of Creativity And Its Relationship With Flexible Thinking Among University Students
Abstract
It aims current research to identify the level of Adaptors and Innovators: Style of Creativity and level of Flexible Thinking among university students, as well as recognize the significance of differences on according to gender (male - female), as well as the correlation between the two variables, in order to check it has the researcher to adopt Adaptors and Innovators: Style of Creativity prepared scale by (Kirton 1994) and (Al-bana 2007) and (Al-Rikapy 2015) as the number of paragraphs was finalized (29) items, and adopt Flexible Thinking prepared scale by (Al-Jalad 2014) as the number of paragraphs was finalized (32) items, has been confirmed the psychometric of characteristics was applied instruments on a sample of (135) students which are chosen randomly from four Colleges at the University of Baghdad, (College of Arts, College of Mass Media, Al-khwarizmi College of Engineer, College of Science) for the academic year 2016-2017 showed Find the following results:
- The research sample of university students there have the Innovators Style of Creativity.
- There are non statistically significant differences between (male and female) in Adaptors and Innovators: Style of Creativity.
- The research sample of university students there have the Flexible Thinking.
- There are non statistically significant differences between (male and female) Flexible Thinking.
The results of the statistical analysis showed that there is no correlation between Adaptors and Innovators: Style of Creativity and Flexible Thinking on the sample as a whole
