Abstract

The current study aimed to find out the perceived stress level to the mothers of the mentally handicapped children, and to reveal the differences in the level of percieved stress refer to( the educational level and the age), the study sample consisted of (100) mothers of mentally hadicapped children, the perceived Scale of Cohen was applied, and the statistical analysis has shown that the perceived stress level to the mothers of the mentally handicapped children was high, and has shown also that there was no differences in the perceived stress refer to neither the educational level nor to the age, the debate of the study results was done according to the previous studies.
