Abstract

This study aims at identifying the differences in allegiance to the homeland among the Algerian youth living in Tizi Ouzou state, according to the following variables: gender, and professional status. In order to do so, the study instrument of the "I am Mali" measure was applied to researcher Dr. Mohamed Mahmoud Awad Bayoumi, Which was adapted in this study to the Algerian environment and changed its name to the measure of loyalty to the country), a sample of 250 young men and women, selected from several areas of the state of Tizi Ouzou The results obtained in this study are that there are no differences between the youth residing in Tizi Ouzou state with respect to loyalty to the country and according to gender and professional status. The results showed that there are statistically significant differences in loyalty to the country among the Algerian youth living in Tizi Ouzou state according to the sex variable, while the results also showed that there are statistically significant differences in loyalty to the country among the Algerian youth living in Tizi Ouzou state according to the professional status variable.
