Abstract

The study aims to identify the level of psychological reactance  among medical students at the University of Sidi Bel Abbes and define the differences in its level according to the gender variable. To achieve these objectives, the researcher adopted the measure of the psychological reactance of "Rana Abbis" after the calculation of honesty and stability, 172 students from the Faculty of Medicine of the University of Sidi Bel Abbes were randomly selected. The results showed a decrease in the degree of the sample on the psychological scale. The results showed no significant differences between females and males in the degree of psychological reactance
