The Impact of Applying the Principles of Good Governance on the Quality of the Financial Communication

Practical Study on the Economic Companies Listed in the Stock Market of Algeria

Abstract

This study aims to know the effect of the principles of governance in increasing the
quality of financial communication in the institutions listed on the Algerian Stock Exchange and to
know the extent of the commitment of these institutions to these principles. In our study, we relied
on the (descriptive and analytical) approaches. A questionnaire was also designed for the purpose
of collecting information about the study sample companies. Data were analyzed and hypotheses
tested using statistical software v.28. spss, some statistical methods were used, and the spss
modeler.18.2 program was used. Finally, we reached a set of results, including, that the institutions
under study are committed to devoting the rules of governance, that the level of quality of financial
communication in the institutions listed on the Algerian Stock Exchange is very high
