Cognitive Behavioural Therapy for Generalized Anxiety Disorder A case study for pregnant Woman with Gestational Hypertension
Abstract
The psychotherapy study aimed at clarifying the effect of Cognitive Behavioural
Therapy in alleviating the symptoms of Generalized Anxiety Disorder on which high
hypertension Pregnancy, We suggest that we case study of “A“, who is 43 years old, and
she has been pregnant for six months, and she is suffering from generalized anxiety disorder,
The therapeutic program includes 16 sessions with two sessions a week and a follow-up
session after three months, as long as all share one hour, the therapeutic program was
evaluated using the Hamilton Inventory Scale. The results showed that the treatment with
Cognitive Behavioural Therapy has reduced the pathological symptoms of generalized
anxiety disorder (physical, emotional and cognitive,behavioural)in this case.
