Abstract

Recent educational strategies and methods have evolved as a result of the
development of contemporary societies, of teachers becoming aware of the need to change the
traditional model of education, and the creation of alternative types to the extent of scientific
development, if teachers and educators are able to use these strategies and provide the
necessary resources
Among these strategies, the Cooperative Learning Strategy, which is one of the modern
learning strategies adopted by the competency-based approach, is student-centered, placing
the learner at the center of the learning process. It is also suitable for various subjects
(mathematics, science, Arabic, etc.). Cooperative learning generally leads to academic, social
gains and helps to develop positive attitudes towards learning and the subject taught, requiring
physical and human resources, as well as equipment and appropriate buildings for this
strategy, and perhaps this is what we lack in educational reality.
