Results show that 46.8% of the students scored
high on the test while 30.0% scored average, and lastly, 23.2% scored low. In addition,
statistical analysis shows that there are no statistically significant differences in critical
thinking skills due to the following variables: university location, gender, academic
specialization , and age of the master students in the Algerian universities.
There is also no interaction between sex and the other variables of the study: university
location, specialization, and age. The differences’ insignificance among the Master
students in the indicated universities might be attributed to the fact that those students are
taught the same content in the academic programs with the same pedagogy since all these
universities are government universities.

بریقل نوالمزوز بركو

It is also suitable for various subjects
(mathematics, science, Arabic, etc.).
The present study aims to detect the most descriptive (more predictable)
predictive model of self-efficacy in the choice of the carrier for students of the fourth
grade in middle school, depending on the statistical standard of the R2 selection
coefficient, which is a statistic reflecting the explanatory power of the predictive models
in multiple linear regression equations in a variety of ways, including the gradual
regression method (used in the current study ), so the study was applied to a sample of
549 students of the fourth year grade distributed on 7 middle schools out of 34 in the
municipality of Setif selected randomly. In addition a scale was built for Measurement
of self-efficacy about the choice of specialization (scientific-literary) based on the
sources of self-efficacy (verbal persuasion, alternative experiences, physiological State,
performance achievements), and the study found that the predictive model containing
the four sources combined is the strongest in terms of The explanation, and the proof of
that, is the value of its selection coefficient, which is estimated to be: R-2 equals 0.996

بوجرادة محمدبن عبد المالك عبد العزیز

The aim of this study is to identify the sources of work stress among middle and
secondary schools’ education assistants, as well as the statistical differences in stress levels,
according to gender and work system. A questionnaire composed of (50) items divided over
(8) work stress dimensions, applied to a sample of (172) assistants, who were selected in a
non-random sampling (quota sampling) among (34) middle and (23) secondary schools in the
wilaya of Medea. The results show that educational assistants suffer from a high level of
perceived stress whose sources are lack of motivation, lack of career development
opportunities, task stress, lack of control poor feedback, workload, lack of supervisor support,
role conflicts and ambiguities. The results also demonstrated that there are no statistically
significant differences in the levels of perceived stress among education assistants due to
gender except for task stress and lack of control in favour of females.
