The role of multinationals in developing upstream activities of the hydrocarbons sector in Algeria during the period 2000-2013

Abstract

This document aims to highlight the contribution of multinational companies in the
hydrocarbon development sector in Algeria during the period (2000-2013), taking into
consideration the conceptual framework for multinational companies, as well as the impact of its
activities in various stages of research, exploration and extraction, to illustrate a real results as an
output through increased production and oil reserve size, as well as increase the size of the
financial investments in this sector.
