Abstract

This article touches upon “the rhetoric of audiences” as a resistant eloquent to authoritarian rhetoric. Which is in pursuit of establishing an alternate awareness, trying to support the lofty goals and building a rhetorical immunity that enables the audience to resist and reject hostile rhetoric. Therefore, it delves into the audience’s responses to contempt rhetoric using some reactions to what Sudani journalist, Al Hindi Izz Addeen, has written about what is known as “The Girl of Tea” as a search space owing to that this critical space contains enticing content to research. Especially since it offers public rhetorical awareness which stands in the way of authoritarian rhetoric represented in contempt and racism.
