Abstract

In this essay, it is entended to focus some characteristics of the nvelistic writings of
Wassini Elarradj, who always surprises us by his own application of language,
transgressing the habitual use of it, on both rhetorical and semantical levels, through his
créative language which confirms his cognitive faculties and the depth of his références,
which enables him to overstep our modernism and créate his own by using the diferent
technical means offered by modernism as departure towards the infinit worlds of the postmodernist
intellect, after the prédominance of the poétical over most of his novels, for his
use of the technics of intertextuality, and paratext, and through the interaction of the
poétical and the narrative at the phonétical contemplative and thématical level, so as to
reach the poétical fonction in his novels
