The Concept of Hospitality as Linguistic Use and Quranic terminology Principles and Significations

Abstract

The Hospitality in the Arab community is associated with the feast prepared by the host in honor of guests, as a sign of care and attention to them. However, this does not necessarily reflect any accurate awareness of all the significations that this original Arabic term can convey; the Article extracts these significations from the linguistic root of "hospitality" and its various combinations before they are enriched by other ones brought about by the Holy Quran.
