Abstract

The slain, speaking of the emotional dimension of the courtship at the beginning of the poem, symbolizes the first level of dialectic of attendance and absence in the poem.
Then the images of that dialectic are formed in the following lines of the poem in conflicts and contradictions, including the unreal and apparentseparation from life, the essential contact with it in addition to dialectic of slavery and freedom or constraints and openness or the Higher Self, and the Lower Self.
All these formations of the dialectic of attendance and absence fall within the scope of a major semantics; that is, the freedom of human existence in its struggle with a world full of obstacles.To achieve that freedom, one has tocollide with those obstacles; because freedom cannot earn its worth unless it collides with those obstacles
