Abstract

Space is a product of intertwined and complementary elements that build the novel's plot and its relation with place. Consequently, space is a carrior of culture and it can be read as a reflector of a particular ideology. Whenever we deal with space, we have to invite the past as well as the present and future in which place is intertwined with time in order to shape events and develop them. For that reason, it's important to study space and put it on focus from different perspectives.
