Abstract
The research studies the discourse of the Lebanese football fans, as it expresses the reality of the fans and its transformations in the period extending from February 14, 2005, the date of the assassination of former Prime Minister Rafik Hariri, until after the October 17, 2019 movement. He tries to monitor the seriousness of sectarian outburst in the speech of the fans of the Lebanese football stadiums after the first event, then he anticipates after the second event an eloquent protest, in which the sectarian and regional scattered people gathered, free from the legacies of the past, gathered to formulate a similar response in the face of the crises that afflicted the country. These crises have changed the public’s approach from disagreement with the other by using the language of war and its remnants to the emergence of a single people united by its legitimate demands for citizenship rights and the dignity of the citizen
