Abstract

The aim of this study, entitled The Fragmentation of the Self in the novel, “El kalil mina El ayb yakfi” to identify the underlying relationship between the Fragmentation and the Self as it struggles with the crude reality in which it lives. This is in light of the narrator's search for the full meaning of a normal life free from feelings of hatred, helplessness and turmoil.
